Patricia has served as a Chief Financial Officer, Lead Risk Officer, Chief Audit Executive, and Vice President Investor Relations. Her work experience includes multi-national, dual listed, large-cap and mid-cap public companies such as Green For Life (GFL), Parkland Fuel and Nexii Building Solutions (Canada's fastest unicorn).  For more than a decade, she has focused on entrepreneurial companies that are going through strategic transformation such as a change in business model, hyper-growth, M&A, Integration, and international expansion.  

 

Patricia worked at the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) in Corporate Finance for six years reviewing all public disclosure documents from prospectuses to continual disclosure documents. She has worked extensively with executive leadership and boards and understands both perspectives. Patricia has presented to Board of Directors and their sub-committees, in a variety of capacities, for approximately100 meetings over 13 years. Currently she serves as a Corporate Director. 

Recognized for her leadership, collaboration skills, excellence, and business acumen, Patricia has worked in a wide variety of industries including ESG centric companies.  She is passionate about helping companies find the intersection between driving long-term profit and incorporating the elements of ESG into their strategy.   

Patricia is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant. and holds the ICD.D designation and GCB.D ESG Designation through Competent Boards.

 

Giving back to the community has been a long-held value.  Patricia volunteers her time as a corporate director at Arts Commons, Canada's third largest arts organization; is a Regional Ambassador for Women Get on Board; and a Local Leader and Mentor with Mentor Walks, a global organization that provides women with an opportunity to walk, talk and be supported through mentoring.
